Everybody dreams. In dreams, one thing follows upon another, typically for no obvious reason. Perhaps dreams are a kind of joyriding road trip where the windshield is filled with familiar elements from the waking world, arranged as roadside attractions in accordance with the much more fluid laws of association common to some far-off land. A land from which we have originated but to which we have long since become oblivious. Perchance, by revealing in the commonplace an inherent strangeness, by making the familiar less so, dreams reinvigorate our innate creative powers of perception. Try to recall that far off land and LOOK again!
